As social competition becomes increasingly fierce, employees face growing psychological pressure in their work, life, and family. Mental health is a topic of great concern to young people today. To show its concern for the mental health of its employees, Hiray Pharma invited Nancy and Curt, psychologists from Meigen Consulting, to give a relaxed and interesting mental health lecture on May 10, 2022. Leaders and employees from all departments of Hiray attended the lecture.

The lecture focused on mental health and self-care. Curt mentioned that mental health encompasses emotional, psychological, and social aspects, which influence how we think, feel, and behave, as well as how we handle stress, interpersonal relationships, and decision-making. Mental health is crucial at every stage of life, from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood. Nancy noted that professional help should be sought if the following symptoms persist for more than two weeks. For example: insomnia, loss of appetite, difficulty getting out of bed due to emotional issues, difficulty concentrating, loss of interest, inability to perform daily tasks, and thoughts of self-harm or suicide. Curt and Nancy shared valuable professional knowledge and experience with employees through vivid case studies and engaging activities, providing detailed advice and positive guidance.

This employee mental health counseling lecture is a concrete measure taken by Hiray Pharma to implement its philosophy of growing together with its employees and to vigorously promote care and concern for its employees. It provides employees with more experience and methods that can be referenced on how to better communicate with colleagues in the workplace and enjoy work and life in today's complex society.
